The Grand Forks Art Gallery Society is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Directors serve a two-year term and are elected by members at the Annual General Meeting in September. The Board meets 10 times over the course of the year and is responsible for fiscal oversight, fundraising, and governance at GFAG. Board members dedicate their time, energy, and expertise to ensure that GFAG continues to fulfill our mission and mandate.
Board terms of reference
The Grand Forks Art Gallery’s 2026 Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 27 - 6:30 pm. This year, the AGM has been moved to align more closely with the end of our fiscal year of March 31, rather than its previous timing in September.
Nominations are now open for new members to join the Grand Forks Art Gallery Board of Directors in advance of the May 27, 2026 AGM. Please note that only current gallery members in good standing are eligible to be nominated, and all nominations must be submitted by another member in good standing.
Nominations must be submitted to Gallery Director/Curator, Jon Worth by 4 pm, April 29th, 2026. These can be delivered in person or via email to jworth@gfag.ca.
